We Are All Made of Molecules

Susan Nielsen
Description
Stewart is 13, small for his age (due to being born prematurely) and is gifted academically. His mom died about two years ago, now he is moving in with his dad's girlfriend and her daughter. Always wondering what it would be like to have a sibling, he is looking forward to the experience. Along with the changing of houses, he also made the decision to try a regular secondary school rather than the Academy for Little Geniuses. So many changes. Ashley is 14, popular, a mean girl and very beautiful, but not very smart. She is dealing (or rather, not dealing) with her parents' divorce and is not looking forward to having a freakazoid move into her house. She is far more interested in cute and slightly mysterious Jared, the new boy at school. Life as a teenager can be rough enough. Add the death of a parent, divorce, moving and being told to accept your new reality can wreak havoc. "We Are All Made of Molecules," is told in two persons, each chapter offering perspective of Stewart or Ashley, complete opposites. How do you think you would react to their situations? Are you a Stewart or an Ashley or a little of both? Peek inside the book:
